Excellent

We have used many of these types of sleeping pads. The quality of this one is excellent and compares to more expensive pads. The material feels thick and the plugs are heavy rubber. It was simple and easy to pump up. It took me about 200 pumps to get it to its firmest. I could pump it with my feet and/or with my hands and it held its air overnight and then with a couple 10 pound weights on it held it for five days. I am 5 foot 10 (160lbs) and I fit comfortably on the pad. Maybe the most amazing thing about this pad is that when I rolled it up to put it back in its bag there was more room then when I first took it out! When does that ever happen?

Not self-inflating as says in title, but still effective at what it is for.

I was looking for a sleeping pad to make my camping cot a little more comfortable. I didn't;t need anything large or thick, just something to help provide some body contour support, this Ogery sleeping pad did the trick.Firstly let's discuss why it's not 5 stars, mainly because the title is misleading - it is not self inflating. Self inflating typically means it has an open cell foam core that will self-expand and fill with air when you open the air valve. This does not have that - which is actually fine with me because it means it will pack down smaller/thinner and take up less space when deflated. But this could be misleading for others making a purchasing decision. To inflate there is a small manual pump mechanism of foam core and one-way valves that you manually compress the area which forces air into the pad every time you press the foam filled chamber. This air chamber is fairly small and it takes awhile to fill the mattress to the desired amount of air. You can't really do it with your foot because the foot will cover the air opening and it's not large enough to just do on one side of the air opening. I found getting down on my knees and using both palms, one on each side of the air opening, worked the best.I filled it about 2/3 of the way which was perfect. too much air and it becomes too hard and might as well not have it at all. Not enough air and you get pressure points. for me, at 170 lbs, 2/3 of the way provided the comfort and shape contouring I was looking for.It is a little noisy when adjusting your position on it, but I think that's hard to avoid. After successful use of it last weekend on my camping cot I plan to take along with me this weekend for some motorcycle camping where it will be a ground pad for my sleeping bag. It packs up small enough to not take up too much space which is important when motocamping.I hope to get a lot of use out of this and seems like it will hold up well.

comfortable but too heavy

Hey fellow camping enthusiasts! I recently got my hands on this camping sleeping pad and wanted to share my experience with you all!First off, it's quite thick, with a 6-inch depth. Sleeping on it feels like lying on my own bed at home. I can't feel any unevenness from the ground, and I don't have to worry about small stones or the cold seeping up at all. What surprised me the most is that it has internal support straps, so it won't sag no matter how long I sleep on it. Even if I'm sleeping on a slight slope, it stays perfectly stable. It works great whether I'm sleeping on my side or my back, which is really important. The material is also fantastic. It's made of 50D polyester, which feels soft and cozy to the touch. And the most crucial part is that when I toss and turn at night, there's no noise! Goodbye to those awkward squeaks and creaks, my sleep quality has improved significantly!Inflation is also super convenient. It comes with a built-in foot pump, so I don't have to strain myself blowing it up. It's done in just a few minutes. However, I must point out that it's not the first choice for hiking backpackers. Its size and weight are not ideal for that.

Fast Foot Pump and Good Comfort, but Long-Term Pump Durability Unknown

This OGERY Sleeping Pad is an inflatable camping/event pad that’s lightweight and compact to bring along. When I first saw the built-in foot pump, I was skeptical. Years ago I had a bellows-style foot pump, and it took forever—easily 30 minutes to inflate a double-wide mattress. After a long day on the road and a one-night stay, that experience stuck with me, so I went into this expecting more of the same. That wasn’t the case here. Once I figured out how to use it, it took about 160 pumps, which sounds like a lot, but it only took around 2 minutes. You barely have to lift your foot, so it goes quickly. I was genuinely impressed. Both main valves are one-way, which means you can also inflate it by mouth from either end if needed. The exhaust valve has two positions: one allows air in without letting it escape, and the second fully opens it for deflation. The opening is about 1 inch in diameter, and it deflates quickly.Folding it back up was a bit tricky at first. If it’s not fully deflated, it won’t fit into the stuff sack. The easiest method is to fold it lengthwise in thirds, press out as much air as possible, then roll it up starting from the foot pump end while leaving the exhaust valve open so remaining air can escape. It needs to be rolled fairly tight to fit. It’s worth paying attention when you first unfold it so you can reverse the process more easily—I didn’t, and it would have helped. As usual, I didn’t see the instructions until after my tests, but they are actually pretty clear for packing it back up.I inflated the pad firm and it feels like a standard single-size air mattress. I let a little air out to fine-tune the comfort for my back. At 5'11", I fit well lengthwise. The width feels a bit narrow at first but is typical for a single-person pad.The outer material is 50D polyester, which has a nice feel and is quieter than some ultralight materials. Inside, it uses a TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) layer, which actually holds the air and adds water resistance and durability. It includes six small round repair patches (about 1 inch in diameter). They don’t look heavy-duty, but they’re flexible and fairly tacky, so they should work for small leaks. For anything more serious, most campers will probably still rely on duct tape or other repair material. One thing to note: the listing mentions “self-inflating,–which isn’t accurate. This is not self-inflating, even partially. However, the built-in pump makes inflation quick and easy.As for durability, that’s still the big unknown. The fabric feels decent, and the seams appear well done—likely heat welded, which is standard for this type of product—but long-term performance will depend on how well they hold up with use.The foot pump is the wildcard. I was curious what the backup option actually looks like in real life, so I did a quick estimate. If the pump fails and your only option is mouth inflation, you’re looking at roughly 65–0 breaths, or about 5–2 minutes depending on pace and lung capacity. That assumes a working exhale of roughly 0.4–.7 liters per breath and a total internal volume around 40–5 liters, which is typical for a pad this size. And honestly, blowing up an air mattress by mouth is never a great time.Overall, this pad surprised me in a good way—especially with how effective and fast the foot pump is. If it proves durable over time, it should be a very practical and convenient option. At this point, my only real concern is the long-term durability of the foot pump. Different color options would also be a plus.

Comfortable, Durable and easy to store

Durable and easy to store ! Two of us sat on it and no butts hit the ground! We could fit comfortably together. Pillow area at top is comfortable! I would be okay without a pillow. Even less to pack!

Great camping asset!

This sleeping pad is a great addition to our camping supplies. We tent and camper camp! So if we have someone that needs a bed vs a floor to sleep on in our camper, this is golden. Worked really nice, inflated super quick. I even used my hands to pump it to see how it worked. Perfect!!! I'm a bigger girl and it held me perfectly too. Study, durable.

A new camping experience! 6 inches thick, comfort beyond imagination!

This OGERY sleeping pad has completely transformed my camping experience. A full 6 inches thick with internal strap support, it feels like sleeping on a real mattress, not a hard surface. No more worrying about sinking or collapsing; it provides excellent support for my back and hips all night long. The built-in foot pump is incredibly time-saving, inflating in just a few minutes (requiring no lung capacity) and deflating just as quickly, making it easy to pack away. The 50D silent fabric is soft and durable, completely silent when you turn over, without any rustling noise that disturbs your sleep. It's lightweight enough for backpacking and hiking, yet durable enough for frequent trips. It maintains its pressure perfectly all night, easily packs into its storage bag, and the waterproof fabric handles wet surfaces well.

Very Comfortable for Camping

I bought this sleeping pad for my camping trips and it works really well. The 6 inch thickness makes it much more comfortable than sleeping directly on the ground. I like that it has a built-in foot pump, so I don’t need to carry another pump. It only takes a few minutes to inflate and get ready for sleep. The material feels strong but still lightweight to carry. I also noticed the fabric is quiet when I move around at night. It rolls up nicely and fits in my camping bag. I used it on a recent trip and slept much better than expected. it’s a great sleeping pad for camping and travel.

Here we come campsite

It was difficult for me to use the foot pump with my foot but was able to use it easier using two hands. Pad was thick and comfortable but not very wide so I would suggest a larger side especially if you are a back sleeper because your arms will just hang off the mat

Comfortable Camping Pad With Durable Material and Easy Inflation

This sleeping pad ended up being much more comfortable than I expected for camping and outdoor trips. It provides good support off the ground and makes sleeping in a tent far more comfortable compared to thinner basic pads. The fit and size work very well for adult use, with enough room to sleep comfortably without feeling cramped. The built-in pillow is also a nice addition and helps reduce the amount of extra gear needed for camping. The material feels durable and well made with a thick waterproof outer layer that holds up nicely against rough ground and outdoor use. It feels much sturdier than cheaper air pads that seem like they could puncture easily.Ease of use is one of the biggest advantages. The built-in foot pump works surprisingly well and inflates the pad much faster than blowing it up manually. Deflating and packing it back down was also simple and didn’t take long.Comfort is excellent overall, with good cushioning and support that helps prevent feeling rocks and uneven ground underneath. It also holds air well overnight without losing firmness.Appearance is clean and modern with a more premium outdoor gear look than many budget sleeping pads.Versatility is another strong point since it works well for camping, hiking, road trips, guests, festivals, and emergency sleeping setups. For the money, this sleeping pad is an excellent value considering the comfort, material quality, easy inflation system, and portability.

Great mattress

This mat blows up quickly and is so comfortable. We use it camping to replace a regular air mattress this one is so much more compact. I am not sure how durable it will be.

Comfortable and easy to use.

The OGERY sleeping pad does its job well.First, it comes with a built-in foot pump, so no extra equipment is needed to inflate the pad and get you resting comfortably—and no passing out from inflating by mouth! The pump worked well and inflated the pad fairly quickly. (One note about that: there’s a valve on the opposite end of the pad that I didn’t notice, so I spent a few minutes trying to pump it up with that valve open. After one of my kids noticed it and we got the valve closed, things went well. That was totally a case of user error, however, and not a problem with the pad!)I’ve only spent one night on the pad, but I have no complaints about it. It was comfortable and held air just fine. The construction is good and it’s nice and compact when deflated. It does include a built-in pillow. The pillow isn’t sealed off from the rest of the pad, so you can’t leave the pillow uninflated if that’s your preference. That didn’t bother me, and I just added a thin pillow of my own over the built-in one. (You could use the built-in one on its own, I just thought I’d be more comfortable with a regular pillow too.)Getting back to the valve at the opposite end of the pad: despite my initial mistake, I’m actually glad the valve is where it is. It means you can roll up the pad from the pump end and the air will squeeze out as you roll, and then the pump will be rolled up in the middle. All in all, this is a nice pad that does the job and is easy to use. Recommended.

Pumpkin not very good

Would give it a 5 if the internal pump worked better. Was faster to blow up by mouth

Very Comfortable

I know that "comfort" is a subjective term but for me, this pad works. You can use the built in pump but it takes a loooong time to fully inflate. Better to use a small battery powered pump. Weight and size are reasonable for backpacking but this is not an ultra light pad. The surface can be slightly slippery. I ordered a washable cotton sleeve that covers the entire pad. More comforfable and it keeps the pad clean.Like any inflatable pad tbis one is subject to punctures. But a patch kit is included. The stuff sack is included but it's barely big enough to fit the pad. You must roll it very tightly. But this does keep the volume down in your backpack. The pad thickens at the head end creating a pillow of sorts. I like that feature because I prefer a thick pillow. All in all a good pad for an entry level camper or backpacker.

Nice one! Comfortable while not being too bulky.

I like this mat a lot. It's got similar features to others that I have with one under-pillow valve that is one-way fill/open, and has a rectangular foot pump at the foot area that feels like it is foam filled for repeated stomp pumping. The material is nice and has a textile feel and not plasticky. The shape is comfortable including the pillow height, and the trick for me is not to fill up inflatable mattresses too high. The excess space allows it to conform to your weight for a pretty even feel with no pressure points. I like that it's not too thick, and it makes it reasonably inflatable by the foot pump. It takes a little bit of time but it's nice to have it built in, and I like the thickness for things like car camping or truck cap camping where height is a factor. The build is great and the material is a cool color and seals are working perfectly. There is a small repair tape included and it's easy to deflate by the top valve and tri-fold and roll, back into it's carrying sack without fuss and carefully compressing it. It's helpful to mash the foot pump to it's smallest, then roll it around it for ease of keeping it small. Molding and construction of the valves is great and it's very perfectly airtight, and there are no flaws in the molded parts like flow lines, shrink, or flashing that could cause a slow leak. I really like the direction camping tech has been going and this is a comfortable sturdy pad at a great price.

Frequently Asked Questions

How thick is the OGERY Ultra-Thick Sleeping Pad, and is it suitable for side sleepers?

This sleeping pad is 6 inches (15cm) thick when fully inflated. This extra thickness provides superior support that prevents your hips and shoulders from touching the ground, making it an excellent choice for side, back, and stomach sleepers alike.

Do I need to bring a separate pump or use my mouth to inflate it?

No. The OGERY Ultra-Thick Sleeping Pad features a built-in foot pump. You can fully inflate the single-person pad in about 1–2 minutes simply by stepping on the integrated pump, saving you the effort of blowing it up or the extra weight of an external pump.

Is this sleeping pad warm enough for cold weather camping?

With an R-Value of 4.5, this pad is designed for 3-season use. The 6-inch air cushion provides a significant barrier against the cold ground, keeping you warm and comfortable from spring through late fall.

How portable is the OGERY Ultra-Thick Sleeping Pad for backpacking?

It is designed with portability in mind. The single model weighs only 2.4 lbs and packs down to a compact 5.9" x 11" size. If you are camping with a partner, the double model weighs 4.8 lbs and offers a shared sleeping surface while remaining highly packable at 6.6" x 12.5".

What is the difference between the Single and Double versions?

Both versions share the same durable outer material and 6-inch thickness. The only differences are the dimensions and weight: the Single pad is 27.5" wide, while the Double pad is 55" wide, providing ample space for two people to sleep comfortably together.

How durable is the fabric? Will it puncture easily on rough ground?

The pad's outer material is paired with a TPU lamination. This combination offers high tear resistance and waterproof durability, making it tough enough to handle various outdoor terrains while remaining soft to the touch.

Is the pad long enough for taller individuals?

Yes. Both the single and double models are 79 inches (approx. 200cm) long, which comfortably accommodates adults up to 6'6" tall without their feet hanging off the edge.

How do I deflate and pack the OGERY Ultra-Thick Sleeping Pad back into its bag?

Deflation is quick and easy thanks to the double-layer release valve. Simply open the valve to let the air out, fold the pad into thirds lengthwise, and roll it tightly toward the valve. It fits back into the included storage bag without struggle.

Does the pad make a loud "crinkling" noise when you move at night?

Unlike many ultralight pads that use noisy metallic films, the OGERY Ultra-Thick Sleeping Pad uses a durable outer fabric and air-based support, which significantly reduces noise when you toss and turn during the night.
